WHAT HAPPENS TO THE DEAD IF NOT BURIED?

When we say the deads,we mean the souls of those that have departed the earth,but it depends on the fate of the soul to know where it is going, there are men who chose to do evil all the days of their lives, even as much as committing sacrilege,they don't give a damn,such people have no freedom as people who do good and keep the laws of nature which is the law of God.
WHAT HAPPENS TO ALL SOULS AFTER DEATH?
it is believed that when a soul is dead it has number of days to stay on earth before they depart,the Catholic traditional believe assume that the dead stays fourthy days on earth before departing,in this case they can visit their loved ones for a while and stay with them before their departure.
This is the reason why we do come across or see the souls of our beloved ,few days after their death.
They appear to those they loved in dreams or making themselves known to us in reality.
There is a story of a young man in my town who died,few days after he had an accident and died,his girlfriend Glory is from my hood and a good friend of mine, she traveled to Malaysia, and since then, she has being putting me on calls..
AFTER the young man's death,she called and I picked the call,she sounds so surprised on the call,she told me that her friend `Oke' visited Malaysia without her notice,I retorted in bewilderment`which of the Oke?,
She said,`do I have any other Oke if not the one you know?I made it up to her that she don't know what she was saying,she Said that Oke is inside her room right now, that she just sneaked out to place this call but because of my resistance in what she said,then she ll go inside so I can see him in the video call, when she reached, she couldn't find him there,he had gone,then did I open up to her that her bestie`Okey'is dead, she screamed while her phone fell from her,I tried to speak further with her but she had fainted..
There was a truck driver who bought cigarettes from a store close to my street,after taking some good number of Benson and hedges with coca-cola drink,a man was discussing with him,in there discussion,I came to understand that he is driving in trips of sand at the building site of the man,the man was telling him to bring more four trips at the site that he wants to confirm if the sand is complete before leaving,so he was urging the driver to make it a haste.
The driver paid the woman but there was no two hundred naira change to give the driver,she promised the man that on his return,she ll provide the change for him,the man left wholeheartedly..
Few ours after the incident, the man came back, this time without his truck,he went to the woman and demanded that he should be offered Benson and hedges with his two hundred naira change, the woman according to her was very surprised that the man didn't come with his truck and moreover,he looks so tattered and in a haste, she offered him the cigarettes,then the man waved her good bye and left,few minutes later, the man who was waiting for the sand rushed to the shop, telling the woman and others that the truck driver is dead, the woman,shouted and narrated what happened to us..
These are proves that the deads stay with us for a good number of days before they depart ...

Here lies the case that get many people confused,all souls stay on earth to visit their loved ones for fourthy days before they leave,after this visit, those who are buried properly transcend into the world of the dead but those who are not buried wonder the earth,my grandpa from my maternal home, when he died,he was kept in the mortuary for like four months,this act started pissing him off.
he kept haunting my maternal family members to hurry up and bury him, that he is tired of being in the cold,but they wanted to do the burial in a big way, but when the pressure was much on them, they had to fix the burial date for fear of being harmed by their dead father,but fortunately for them when they fix up the date for the burial, the money showed up for the burial without much stress.
In Igbo culture, anyone who dies ,must continue to wonder the earth until they are buried, that is why in several places in Igbo land some of the deads keep disturbing their people till they get buried, when they are buried they ll then go over to the land of the dead.
Without this,the soul ll keep disturbing,in most cases some ll be crying to their people for burial, until they ll be found and buried, without this, the soul has become a wondering spirit .in Igbo land for instance,if a person died mysteriously without his corpse recovered, his people ll cut a plantain stern and put inside a coffin for the dead person ,before burying,this is to send the person back to the world of the deads for a rest,when such a soul keeps persuading the loved ones for a burial, and once buried ,you ll understand that the soul would no longer be seeing around loitering and haunting people's peace, because they have traveled to their peaceful world.
One thing I understand,most of these haunted spirit on camera disturbing the peace of people leaving there,is that most of them died mysteriously and were not discovered,so they wonder in agony looking for who ll do the needful but no one to help them transport them over through burial rites,all these are in the bosom of man to accomplish because God gave man dominion over all creation, both the living and spirit world.
without man doing the needful, they can't go there on their own.that is why it is very important to do a burial rite for the dead ,this is the only help we can offer them as our beloved,so as not to keep them wondering the earth and out of this cause more harm to mankind, thanks.
